The Holiday Tree Lighting is taking place this Friday, December 2nd from 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Carmel Plaza. The crossroads of Junipero Street and Ocean Avenue comes to life with local school choirs, special singing guests, and appearances by city officials, among other festivities. Amidst the celebration, the town Mayor flips the switch to light the grand tree that becomes the city’s welcoming beacon throughout the holiday season.
